The UETR is a 36-character code in format 8-4-4-4-12 hexadecimal — mandatory on every SWIFT payment since November 2018. It appears on the SWIFT MT103 in field 121, on ISO 20022 pacs.008 in the <UETR> element, and on most bank online-banking payment receipts.
Completely free for individuals worldwide — no signup, no account, no payment card required.
The Ohmyfin tracker queries the live SWIFT GPI network and returns the same status data that bank treasury teams see on tracker.swift.com.
