The UETR is a 36-character code in format 8-4-4-4-12 hexadecimal — mandatory on every SWIFT payment since November 2018. It appears on the SWIFT MT103 in field 121, on ISO 20022 pacs.008 in the <UETR> element, and on most bank online-banking payment receipts.
Free for ordinary users worldwide — 10 lookups per IP per day with no signup, plus 100 free credits when you create an account. No card required.
The Ohmyfin tracker queries the live SWIFT GPI network and returns the same status data that bank treasury teams see on tracker.swift.com.
