Get your UETR from your bank
Ask your sending bank for the UETR — a 36-character code in MT103 field 121 or the pacs.008 <UETR> tag. Every SWIFT GPI transfer has one.
Paste it in the tracker above
Enter your UETR in the Payment Tracker form. Optionally add the TRN, date and amount to narrow results. Then hit Track Payment.
Results usually appear within 3–5 secondsRead your live SWIFT status
We query the SWIFT GPI network and return the payment status — ACSP, ACCC, RJCT — plus routing chain, value date and any rejection reason.
Completely free for individuals worldwideBeyond free SWIFT / UETR tracking, ohmyfin.org now offers dedicated status pages — and, where the brand allows it, live real-time lookup — for major international money-transfer services.
How to Check Your Cross-Border Payment in 3 Steps
No account, no card, no install. Pull the four data points your bank already gave you and we do the rest.
You'll need the UETR (field 121, the 36-character ID), the sender reference (field 20), the currency & amount (field 32A) and the value date. The example on the right shows where each one sits.
We return the latest available ISO 20022 status code — ACSP, ACCC, RJCT or PDNG — along with the last touching bank and the timestamp of the most recent update.

Yes, you can. The sender of the SWIFT payment should request their bank to provide GPI tracking. If the bank is not part of the GPI network, you can ask for the payment reference number or better UETR and try tracking it here on Ohmyfin. Typically, you will find a payment status, such as ACSP (in process) or RJCT (rejected). You will also see the last update time, so you’ll know if someone at the bank is actively working on your transfer.
We retrieve real-time information on your behalf from several major banks and consolidate this data to provide you with a comprehensive overview of your payment status.
SWIFT payments typically take 1–3 business days to process. If the payment has not been received within this timeframe, it might be undergoing manual review. Due to heavy workloads, compliance officers may require up to two months to complete their review. To help expedite the process, the sender can request an investigation through their bank.
A SWIFT payment is sent with an MT103 form (or its ISO 20022 equivalent pacs.008). It includes field 20 — usually called the sender's reference — which maps to EndToEndId in pacs.008. Each bank in the chain assigns their own reference, so the UETR code is more universal. Read more about MT103 fields or pacs.008 ISO 20022.
A Unique End-to-End Transaction Reference (UETR) is a 36-character identifier included in all SWIFT payment instruction messages, formatted as XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX. It is found in MT103 field 121 and in the pacs.008 (ISO 20022) <UETR> tag. The sender can always request their bank to provide the UETR code for the SWIFT transfer. Read more about UETR in our SWIFT Knowledge Center.
In most cases, the payment is not lost but delayed at one of the banks. The most effective course of action is to request your bank to initiate a payment investigation after 2-3 weeks since the payment was sent. Typically, this can only be done by the sender. Read more about missing SWIFT payments.
The MT103 form (and its ISO 20022 successor pacs.008) contains all the data regarding your SWIFT transfer. The sender can ask their bank to provide either format. You can find not only the reference # / EndToEndId — which is useful for tracking — but also the value date, which is sometimes different from the actual date when you sent the money. Examples of MT103 / FIN103 / pacs.008 documents.
A reference # is assigned by each bank. UETR is universal. However, if you call your bank to ask for the status, it's almost impossible to communicate an UETR code accurately. The sender's reference will be much easier in this scenario.
The list of correspondent banks (nostro accounts) is part of SSI instructions. Sometimes they are published on the official bank's website. Banks normally find it via SWIFTref - a non-public database of correspondent relations. You can also order this information here at Ohmyfin. Database of correspondent relations. You can order it directly on the bank's page, for example: ABNANL2A - ABN AMRO, BPKOPLPW - PKO BANK POLSKI, CITIDEFF - Citibank Germany.
