Ria PIN / Order Number Tracker — Free

Track any Ria Money Transfer using the PIN or Order Number from the sender's receipt. We query Ria's public tracker and return one of five statuses. Bot-blocked lookups fall back to a clear direct-lookup guide.

The PIN is on the Ria receipt or in the confirmation email — usually 8 to 16 alphanumeric characters.

About Ria Money Transfer

Step-by-step: find your Ria Money Transfer transfer

  1. Open riamoneytransfer.com/en-us/tracker (or riamoneytransfer.com → "Track a transfer" in the top bar).
  2. Enter the PIN / Order Number exactly as printed on the receipt — typically 8 to 16 letters and digits, case-insensitive.
  3. Enter the sender's last name exactly as it appears on the receipt (Ria validates this to prevent scraping).
  4. If the result page says "We cannot find this transfer", wait 5–10 minutes (new transfers propagate slowly) and retry. If still nothing, ask the sender to forward the Ria confirmation email so you can verify the PIN.

Common reasons a Ria Money Transfer transfer is delayed

Compliance / sanctions review (especially for amounts above the per-corridor reporting threshold — usually USD 3,000)
Fix: Sender should reply to the Ria compliance email with the requested ID + source-of-funds document. Review usually clears within 1 business day.
Payout-agent cash shortage in receiver's city (common in Cuba, Venezuela, Lebanon, parts of Sub-Saharan Africa)
Fix: Receiver tries a different Ria agent — riamoneytransfer.com/locator lists every agent with live status.
Bank-deposit transfer rejected by receiver bank (wrong account number, dormant account, name mismatch)
Fix: Ria automatically holds the funds for 30 days for sender to amend the payout details from their Ria account. After 30 days the transfer is auto-refunded.
Destination country bank holiday (Ria moves cash same-day in most corridors but bank-deposit transfers wait for the next clearing window)
Fix: Check the destination country's 2026 banking calendar. If urgent, switch to cash pickup in the Ria account before the next clearing window.

Fees & FX

Ria publishes its full fee schedule per-corridor at riamoneytransfer.com/en-us/fees. Cash pickup transfers from a Ria branch typically cost USD 0–8 in fixed fees on top of the FX margin. Online transfers funded by bank account are usually cheaper than card-funded transfers. The FX margin is typically 0.5%–2.5% off the mid-market rate depending on the corridor — competitive against banks but wider than Wise or Revolut for major currency pairs.

Does Ria Money Transfer use SWIFT?

Ria does NOT use SWIFT for the actual payout — Ria moves value through its own pre-funded agent network and partner banks. SWIFT only comes into play when a customer chooses a bank-deposit option in a country where Ria does not have a direct partner bank; in that minority of cases the leg from Ria to the receiver bank may carry a UETR you can track on the OhMyFin homepage.

Ria Money Transfer scam warning

Watch out: If anyone you have not met in person asks you to send money via Ria — especially for taxes, a "release fee", customs clearance, romance, a job offer, or an inheritance — it is almost certainly a scam. Ria, OhMyFin and every legitimate authority will never ask you to pay fees via money transfer to release a larger payment.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Ria PIN?

Ria calls its tracking reference the PIN or Order Number. It is an alphanumeric code (typically 8–16 characters) printed on the receipt and emailed to the sender. The PIN is what the receiver presents at any Ria agent counter together with photo ID to collect cash, and what we feed Ria's public tracker.

Is Ria PIN tracking free?

Yes. During the introductory period every visitor gets 20 free Ria PIN lookups per day. Signed-in OhMyFin users get 50 per day.

Does the receiver need this tool?

No — to actually collect cash, the receiver presents the PIN and photo ID at any Ria agent. This tool only shows status. The receiver also gets an SMS from Ria when the transfer is ready, so the tracker is mostly useful for senders worried about a delay.

Why might my Ria PIN show "not found"?

Either the PIN was mistyped, the transfer was just created and Ria has not propagated it yet (allow 5–10 minutes), the receiver already collected and the transfer was purged from the active tracker (Ria drops completed transfers from the public tracker after ~30 days), or Ria served us a captcha. If the tracker on riamoneytransfer.com also returns nothing, contact Ria support.

Does Ria send money to my bank account in any country?

Bank deposit is available in 175+ countries. The full corridor list is at riamoneytransfer.com/en-us/where-we-send-money — type your destination country to see whether bank deposit, cash pickup, mobile wallet, and/or home delivery are available.

How does Ria compare to Western Union and MoneyGram?

Ria is typically 10–30% cheaper than Western Union and MoneyGram on the same corridor because its operating costs are lower (most agents are convenience stores rather than dedicated branches). Speed is comparable for cash pickup. Western Union still has the larger agent network (550,000+ vs 600,000+ for Ria including its own Xpress Money brand), so Ria wins on price and matches on reach.
